Still need a lot of improvements. go pro cams has NO muanal exposure, NO muanal IRIS control, No repeat for video playback, no shoe mount, mic sound sucks, no muanal audio control. nothing worse than AGC for audio. maybe they should release a gopro professional edition for users who KNOW video and audio, who will push this to the limit.

True, GoPro needs lots of improvements. I think for the price it cost, it does a great job recording from a moving vehicle. It used to bother me the lousy sound recording. But I usually use a "theme" song in all my videos so I am ok with it. Thanks for visiting.

I've been using the Hero 2 a lot lately. I think it's the best in the POV caoetgry cause the quality is awesome and the selection of mounts is second to none. But it's not perfect. Here's my pros and cons.Pros:- impeccable video quality- ruggedness, durability and versatility of mounts- chest mount design is worth notingCons:- way too expensive- no screen and have no idea where it's aimed- user interface is still bad. It took me 10 rides to be confident that it's turned on.- battery life is so short. it seems battery life is wasted as it is always heating itself- construction and button feel is very far below regular camera' or phone' quality.

I like my little GoPro camera, one of the best investments I've made to document my moto adventures. You are right, it could get pricey when people start purchasing add-ons. I had to purchase the LCD BacPac to make sure I was aiming at the right place on my recordings. So far never had issues with my battery, but I purchased and extra battery just in case.

Photography is one of my favorite hobby's. I've read cloutness books, and took who knows how many thousands of pictures. The one thing I've found to be the most true of any quote I've ever read about photography is: The only bad picture is the one you didn't take .Sometimes it's best just to take the picture and have fun. Try not to get caught up with all the perfect lighting. Besides, with enough practice it becomes second nature to get the right settings and right locations. You just get good at it.Kind of like riding an ATV. The more you ride, the better you get.

Molly, I couldn't agree more. But dealing with video cameras is a whole different monster. I wish I knew all the answers. Thank you.
